Overview[]
A Guild Lair is required for a Keeper to join a Guild, and thus enjoy Guild perks. A Guild Lair is a room without any defenses of its own, however it is inhabitted by minions withdrawn from a guild. As the Guild Lair gains levels, the population threshold of minions that can be withdrawn at a single time increases, allowing for more and more powerful units to be withdrawn at a single time.
Note that a Guild Lair's minions need to be restocked whenever minions inside die during a defense, or a guild banner is used in an attack. As such, a Guild Lair which is not maintained is as much of a defensive liability as a Warehouse or Treasury.
Notes[]
- Unlocks access to Guilds, Chat and Powerful Perks!
- Unlocks access to Minion lending
- Leveling up your Guild Lair increases the health of your Guild Banner in Raid mode
- The red flags in the corners of the room have the logo of Bullfrog Productions, creators of the original Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2 games.
- While defending, minions will be released once enemies are within a certain range otherwise they will stay hidden
- A max of 5 minions at a time can be released from a defending guild lair, once a minion dies if there is another ready, it will spawn instantly afterwards providing their are enemies in range
- Guild lairs at higher levels have very high health
- Ghosts will travel the furthest out of all minions released from guild lairs
- All minions except the Dragon Whelp can be donated and withdrawn
- Be careful of Ghosts and Vampires releasing from enemy guild lairs, they can wreck havoc to your armies
- While upgrading a Guild Lair, it will not release minions if you are raided or defending a survival raid or campaign. However, you can still donate, withdraw, and deploy guild minions during a raid
